BAUT fixing system for brick facades
Facade Brick Installation with BAUT Fixing System
For brick façades, we offer a new solution for the installation of façade bricks. We represent the reinforcement system manufacturer Bautopas (BAUT) in Estonia and Scandinavia.
This system can be used to reinforce and anchor all known types of paving stones, ranging from classic axial stones to more complex and heavy stones.
Brick is a building material we have been accustomed to seeing around us for centuries.
From stoves and fireplaces to chimneys and house façades, brick plays a significant role in the appearance of these historic structures.
However, the skills of the mason and the quality of the materials used are equally important to ensure the durability and preservation of the appearance.
When selecting materials, a wide range of options is available, but it’s crucial to consider the architectural characteristics and the properties of the chosen building materials to ensure lasting durability.
Through FixFas OÜ, it is possible to purchase all Wienerberger façade stones.
Facade Brick Installation
For the installation of facade bricks, we offer a fastening system consisting of facade brackets and a hooks system.
The biggest advantage of the Baut fastening system is that it allows the construction of a brick wall without laying it on a brick foundation. This solution is particularly popular in urban areas and buildings where the ground floors are used as shops or commercial spaces, often with glass walls.
With the Baut fastening system, you can:
BAUT Brackets
Baut system
The brick brackets enable the entire wall to be suspended from the load-bearing structure without requiring a foundation.
The brackets allow bricklaying to start from higher floors. Additionally, it can be used to address corner joints and other complex structural solutions in the façade.
The BAUT brackets are made of stainless steel and are attached to the concrete base wall using chemical anchors.
Hooks for the brick lintels
Baut system
Our product range includes a specialized hanging system for constructing lintels, allowing the creation of lintels up to 2 meters in length using only reinforcements and hangers. Longer lintels can also be constructed with the help of supports. These supports ensure the entire system remains stable and prevents deflections.
Using the same supports and hooks, it is easy to create corner lintels, large garage door lintels, and brick walls that are suspended from the load-bearing structure.
Brick Facade Reinforcement System
Baut system
Reinforcement is essential for strengthening brick facade walls to ensure the building’s load-bearing capacity and resistance to weather conditions.
For this purpose, either a Murfor-type pre-made reinforcement ladder or rebar with clamps can be used. These options ensure precise placement and easy installation of the reinforcement.
For bridges, there is a system of armatures and hangers that suspend the facade stone as a bridge in the masonry.
For lintels, a system of reinforcements and hangers is available, allowing the facade brick lintel to be suspended into the masonry.
The brick can be positioned in any direction. Depending on the brick’s placement in the facade, the appropriate reinforcement method is selected. The reinforcements protruding from the brick facade are made of stainless steel.
Brick Ties
Our product range includes the following types of ties:
We assist with the complete design of the building’s brick facade and prepare detailed execution drawings at the project level for the installation of supports, reinforcements, and ties.
We Conduct Tensile tests
We perform tensile tests for fastening accessories and assist structural engineers in solving technical problems.
For each test result, we issue a protocol that includes the values and test images. The tensil testing equipment is certified, and the results provide valuable support for structural engineers.
If necessary, we involve the manufacturers’ technical support to address even the most complex projects.
