Slate façade

Stone, once the privilege of churches and castles, today gives entire regions a distinctive architectural look.

Architects, planners and builders have a wide range of options, as this stone is suitable for roofs, facades and interiors.

Slate began to be used as a building material in the Middle Ages. The material was widely used on the roofs of churches and castles for its fire resistance and ease of installation.

Mining slate from quarries in Germany and Spain

The slate we offer is extracted from quarries in Germany and Spain. Using modern technology, the stone is first cut into rough blocks using modern sawing systems, from which layers of around 5-8 mm are then cut. The stone is then processed to the desired shape and an additional finish is applied to some of the products.
