Frequently asked questions

Fibre-cement slabs can be fixed to different sub-frames:

  • Wooden carcass;
  • Metal carcass;
  • For aluminium construction.

The simplest and quickest solution is to use aluminium profiles, which must be installed vertically at a maximum distance of 600 mm from each other. The aluminium profile system consists of crown bricks, L- and T-profiles according to the design.

The tiles must be fixed to the profiles with flat head screws, rivets or concealed fixings. The number of anchors per square metre depends on the size of the tiles, the wind load and the conditions of use.

We help to select and design the right frame and fixing solution according to the wishes of the building architect, client, constructor, while taking into account the budget of the building and the complexity and location of the facade in relation to the weather. We can also help you design the right fixing sequences, ways and, if necessary, train installation teams.
